Welcome to McKay Cottage
McKay Cottage in Bend, Oregon is a casual neighborhood breakfast and lunch restaurant nestled in a preserved 1916 historic craftsman bungalow. The Cottage is the former home of Bend Oregon pioneers Clyde and Olive McKay and their son, Oregon State Senator Gordon McKay. In 1973 the McKay house was moved to its present location on O.B. Riley Road across from the Deschutes River.
McKay Cottage is now home to Bend’s best creative comfort food, serving award winning breakfast and lunch every day. For the past thirteen years in a row McKay Cottage has been voted by locals as the Best Breakfast in Central Oregon! We believe that taking care of people and truly enjoying what we do are the reasons for our success. The entire staff at McKay Cottage has worked for years to earn the business of our amazing and loyal customers.
